On November 6, 2024, the Philippine Society of Hospital Pharmacists (PSHP) – Cavite Chapter conducted a Seminar on Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regulatory Updates at the Cavite Collaboration Center for Public Health, Trece Martires City. The seminar aimed to discuss the latest policies and strategies pertaining to the management and administration of dangerous drugs and its enforcement, which brought together pharmacists from public and private hospitals in the province.
The seminar featured speakers from PDEA, Ms. Rowena A. Kalalo – Chief, Regional Compliance Section and Mr. Muhammad Al Fath A. Awak – Dangerous Drugs Regulation Officer III. Both provided critical insights into the recent regulatory developments, offering guidance on updated compliance measures and operational best practices in line with the dangerous drugs.
Participants engaged in interactive discussions, enhancing their knowledge of PDEA’s regulatory framework and deepening their commitment to supporting the agency’s mission. (OPIO)
