On November 26, 2024, Brgy. Fatima 1 hosted the Provincial Government of Cavite’s successful Medical and Dental Mission which provided essential healthcare services to 476 residents. The event, requested by Punong Barangay Garry N. Esteban and council, was made possible through the dedicated service of medical and dental practitioners from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer (OPHO) and the assistance of Barangay Health Workers.
The mission offered comprehensive healthcare services, with 411 residents receiving medical consultations and treatments, 65 benefiting from dental care, 28 undergoing ECG procedures, and 11 availing of X-ray examinations. Additionally, free medicines were distributed by staff from the Office of the Provincial Governor (OPG) to further support the beneficiaries.
Barangay Chairman Garry N. Esteban expressed his gratitude to all collaborators, particularly Governor Athena Bryana D. Tolentino and the OPHO team, for their unwavering support and dedication. Residents also commended the initiative, citing the accessibility and convenience of the services provided. (R. Dones)
