In the continuing thrust of promoting a more progressive community of women, the Provincial Government of Cavite marked the second day of the Women’s Welfare Program on November 18, 2024, at Alfonso Municipal Covered Court.
This remarkable event brought together 2,000 Alfonseño women, each receiving two thousand pesos in cash assistance.
Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino was joined by Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat, Vice Mayor Madonna Pel, and the Sangguniang Bayan members, affirming their unceasing commitment to help empower women and elevate their welfare. “Ito ay paraan ng gobyerno na masuportanhan kahit na sinoman basta babae. Ang serbisyong ito ay para sa inyong lahat”, Governor Athena emphasized.
The WWP is an initiative of the Governor endeavoring to visit every locality in the province to reach and engage with Caviteñas. (J.Reyes)
