DTI-Laguna, Municipal Government of Victoria, and Key National Agencies Host Successful Kadiwa ng Pangulo Event

Victoria, Laguna – In a collaborative effort to bring affordable goods to the people of Victoria, Laguna, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Laguna Provincial Office, together with the Municipal Government of Victoria and key national agencies, hosted the Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) event at the Victoria Municipal Covered Court recently.

The event, supported by the Department of Agriculture, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Labor and Employment, and Department of Social Welfare and Development, was aimed at promoting affordable access to essential goods for local communities. The KNP event attracted a large crowd of residents who were able to purchase fresh vegetables, rice, everyday household items, and locally manufactured goods at reduced prices.

With the goal of supporting both consumers and local farmers, KNP provides a platform for regional farmers and small businesses to sell their products directly to customers. This initiative helps ensure that farm-fresh produce is delivered to local markets at reasonable prices, providing families in the area with affordable, high-quality food. It also benefits farmers by allowing them to receive fair payment for their produce, thereby strengthening the local economy.

The success of the event highlights the importance of partnerships between local government units, national agencies, and small businesses in fostering inclusive economic growth. By making essential goods more accessible and affordable, KNP plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for families while supporting the livelihoods of local producers.

The DTI-Laguna remains committed to fostering innovation, resilience, and competitiveness in the local business environment. Through events such as KNP, DTI-Laguna continues to create opportunities for small businesses to expand their reach and grow. The DTI’s mission is to ensure that the business landscape in the province remains vibrant, resilient, and forward-thinking, supporting both new and existing enterprises.

As the event concluded, DTI-Laguna reiterated its dedication to supporting the growth and success of local businesses, further strengthening the province’s economy and ensuring a sustainable future for local entrepreneurs and farmers alike (RYPGatdula, DTI-Laguna).
