On February 28, 2025, a significant event unfolded at Sigtuna Hall in Tagaytay City, where 5,522 students from the City College of Tagaytay received educational assistance worth ₱3,500 each from the Provincial Government of Cavite. This initiative was designed to support students in their academic pursuits and alleviate the financial challenges associated with their education.
The program was spearheaded by Governor Athena Tolentino through the Office of the Provincial Governor – Provincial Scholarship Committee. Governor Tolentino’s efforts in facilitating this assistance highlight her commitment to ensuring that education remains accessible to all students in the province.
The event was graced by notable figures, including Congresswoman Aniela Tolentino, Mayor Bambol Tolentino, and Vice Mayor Agnes Tolentino, who were present to show their support for the students and the educational assistance program.
