TESDA and OPPESM partners IN capacitating CTECs and recognized Community-Based Training

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in Partnership with the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM) successfully conducted the Capability Building Program for  Community Training and Employment Coordinators  (CTEC) and Recognized Community-Based Training on September 30, 2024, at 9:00 AM. The event brought together 46 participants, including community trainers and key stakeholders, to enhance their skills and competencies in delivering TESDA programs at the grassroots level.

The program commenced with an opening message from Dir. Rosalinda B. Talavera, followed by an insightful overview of TESDA’s initiatives in barangays presented by Mr. Herminigildo T. Acapuyan. Attendees were recognized for their contributions with certificates awarded by Ms. Rowena D. Nomio, highlighting the importance of community-based training.

The event featured a comprehensive session led by Ms. Lorena P. Lim, focusing on best practices and effective training methodologies.

Ms. Rizalie Pinpin-Enero, Provincial Public Employment Service Manager, concluded the program with closing remarks, emphasizing the commitment to empowering local communities through education and skills development.

TESDA and Cavite OPPESM are grateful for the enthusiastic participation and looks forward to implementing the insights gained from this successful event to further enhance community-based training initiatives. (H. Villa)
