The Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Persons with Disability Affairs Officer (OPPDAO), conducted the Cavite Link Ability Career Fair: Meeting with Inclusive Partners for the Elderly and Persons with Disability on October 6, 2026, at the New Provincial Government Center, Trece Martires City.
The activity brought together 21 participating companies and key resource speakers to promote inclusive employment opportunities and strengthen collaboration among employers and stakeholders in supporting the elderly and persons with disabilities (PWDs).
The resource speakers included Ms. Marical C. UI, M.Ed., LPT, of LINK for the Deaf, Inc.; Atty. Christian C. Imperial of the Office of the Provincial Legal Officer; Hon. Kerby J. Salazar, Board Member and Chairperson on Rules and Good Government; and Dr. Abraham Domingo De Castro, PESO Manager of the City of Bacoor.
Through the initiative, the Provincial Government of Cavite continues to encourage inclusive hiring practices and create opportunities for the elderly and PWDs to participate meaningfully in the workforce. — OPIO
