Cavite Art Fair continues to celebrate creative spirit

The Cavite Art Fair opened its second year on October 20, 2026, at the New Provincial Government Center, bringing together Caviteño artists, galleries, and art enthusiasts for a three-day celebration of local creativity and culture. A flagship initiative of the Provincial Government of Cavite under Governor Abeng Remulla, the event is spearheaded by the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and the Alitaptap Artists Community. The exhibit runs until October 22, 2026.

Vice Governor Ram Revilla Bautista delivered the welcome remarks, emphasizing the importance of nurturing local talent and promoting Cavite’s cultural identity. Messages of support were also shared by Emmanuel “Manny” Garibay, founder of Linangan Art Residency; Henry “Bokeng” Ancanan, president of the Alitaptap Artists Community; and Atty. Thristle Buxani, Secretary of the National Committee on Art Galleries. The fair features artworks from participating galleries, artist communities, and individual artists across the province, showcasing the diversity of Caviteño creativity and artistic expression.

Beyond providing a venue to exhibit and sell artworks, the Cavite Art Fair supports local artists and micro, small, and medium enterprises, creating opportunities to connect with buyers and reach wider audiences. Its online platform, artfair.cavite.gov.ph, further expands access to local artists and their works.

Through this initiative, the Provincial Government of Cavite and its partners reaffirm their commitment to preserving cultural heritage, strengthening the creative industry, and positioning Cavite as a vibrant cultural and tourism destination. #caviteartfair #Cavite #localartists #artfairs
