The Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) successfully conducted another installment of its Livelihood on the Go program on November 19, featuring Pastries and Delicacies: Banoffee Pie and Pichi-Pichi Making. The activity was held at the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist Compound, Trece Martires City.
The training gathered farmers from different cities and municipalities in Cavite, providing them with new skills they can use for potential income-generating opportunities. The program opened with welcome remarks from Ms. Sheryll H. Loyola, Livelihood Division Head of OPCDO, who encouraged participants to explore livelihood ventures that can supplement their families’ income.
The session was led by Ms. Corazon A. Tepora, who guided the participants through hands-on preparation of Banoffee Pie and Pichi-Pichi. Participants actively engaged in the demonstration and were able to produce their own finished products by the end of the training.
The OPCDO continues to push for community-based livelihood development through its LOG program, equipping CaviteƱos with practical skills that can support economic resilience and sustainable livelihood opportunities. (R.Tanael)
