Winning Cavite provincial leaders, district reps proclaimed

CAVITE – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) proclaimed on Tuesday, May 13, the provincial leaders and district representatives who won in the midterm elections.

Abeng Remulla, son of Justice Sec. Jesus Crispin Remulla, was proclaimed governor-elect at the Provincial Legislative Building in Trece Martires.

Remulla’s unopposed running mate, Sen. Bong Revilla’s son Ram Revilla Bautista, was proclaimed vice governor-elect.

Speaking to the media, Remulla said he and Revilla Bautista have big shoes to fill, given their families’ political backgrounds.

“We’re standing on the shoulders of giants. Our job here is to make sure we forge our own paths, create our own legacies, while taking into consideration the steps that our forefathers have done before,” Remulla stated.

Comelec also proclaimed the following Cavite district representatives:

* 1st District – Jolo Revilla

* 2nd District – Lani Mercado Revilla

* 3rd District – AJ Advincula

* 4th District – Kiko Barzaga

* 5th District – Roy Loyola

* 6th District – Ony Ferrer

* 7th District – Ping Remulla

* 8th District – Aniela Tolentino
