On March 21, 2025, President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. graced the “Trabaho at Serbisyong Pangkalusugan sa Bagong Pilipinas” event held at the Dasma Arena in DasmariƱas City, Cavite spearheaded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in coordination with the Provincial Government of Cavite through the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager. The event aimed to provide employment opportunities and essential government services to exiting 4Ps households.
President Marcos emphasized the administration’s commitment to uplifting the lives of Filipinos, particularly beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps). He expressed a strong determination to extend the job fair program nationwide.
The event featured numerous local and overseas employment opportunities across various industries, including business process outsourcing (BPO), wholesale and retail trade, transport and logistics, construction, and tourism. Participating employers offered positions such as customer service representatives, sales personnel, cashiers, drivers, delivery helpers, service crew, baggers, factory workers, HR associates, finance associates, accounting and procurement staff.
In addition to job placements, attendees had access to essential government services. Agencies such as the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) were present to assist with various pre-employment requirements and clearances.
President Marcos’ active participation in the event underscored his administration’s dedication to addressing unemployment and promoting economic development. By collaborating with key government agencies and local employers, the event successfully connected job seekers with potential employers and provided valuable resources to support their employment journey.
