The Office of the Provincial Cooperatives Development Officer (OPCDO) successfully spearheaded the Cavite Entrepreneurship Students Caravan, themed “Entrepreneurial Mindset: The First Step Towards Success,” at Gen. Mariano Alvarez Technical High School (GMATHS) on March 7, 2025. The educational caravan was attended by Grade 12 Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students, aiming to equip them with fundamental entrepreneurial skills and insights.

The program commenced with an opening remark from Mary Dianne Tan, GMATHS Senior High School Coordinator, who spoke on behalf of Dr. Victorio N. Medrano, the school principal. It was followed by an inspiring message from Ms. Rizalie P. Enero, Officer-in-Charge- OPCDO, emphasizing the significance of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset among the youth.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of OPCDO programs and services by Ms. Liza C. Gabatan, OPCDO – Entrepreneurial Division Head, showcasing the various initiatives and support mechanisms available for aspiring entrepreneurs in Cavite. This provided students with valuable information on how they can access resources and guidance for their future business endeavors.

The lecture proper was facilitated by Dr. Leo D. Manansala, who delivered an engaging discussion on the Entrepreneurial Mindset. His talk covered essential topics such as innovation, resilience, and strategic thinking, encouraging students to adopt a proactive approach toward entrepreneurship. After the lecture, students were given the opportunity to ask questions, allowing them to gain further insights and clarify their concerns about the entrepreneurial journey. (OPIO)
